When You’re Doing All The Work But Still Don’t Feel Healed..

You’ve read the books.

You’ve journaled your heart out.

You’ve talked about your childhood wounds in therapy.

You’ve sat with your triggers, tracked your cycles, pulled cards, and lit all the candles.

You’ve done the work…

So why do you still feel stuck?

Why does it still feel heavy?

Why do you still feel like something’s off, like something deep within you is still holding on?

Let me say this loud and clear:

It’s not because you’ve failed.

It’s because healing isn’t something you think our way through.

It’s something you feel our way through.

And most of us were never taught how to do that.

Healing isn’t linear.

We love a clear plan. A step-by-step. A list we can tick off.

But healing doesn’t follow rules or timelines.

It moves in spirals. In cycles. In waves.

Some days you feel free and grounded.

Other days you feel like you’ve regressed five years.

It’s not that nothing’s working.

It’s that healing is layered.

And each time something resurfaces, it’s offering you a chance to go deeper — to meet yourself with even more honesty, softness, and truth.

When healing becomes intellectual… it stops moving

Here’s the trap so many of us fall into:

We become really good at understanding ourselves.

We can explain where our wounds came from.

We can analyse our patterns.

We can list every trauma response by name.

But understanding isn’t the same as embodying.

You can’t think your way into healing.

You have to feel your way into it.

And let’s be real — most of us were never taught how to actually feel.

We were taught how to suppress, distract, numb, or overthink.

So we end up collecting knowledge but holding onto the pain.

Your body remembers what your mind forgets

If you’ve ever had a sudden emotional release — crying for no clear reason, shaking after breathwork, or feeling a heavy sadness you can’t explain — that’s your body doing the work your mind can’t.

Because trauma, grief, rage, shame… they don’t live in your head.

They live in your body.

And until you start including the body in your healing, you’ll keep circling the same stuck feelings over and over again.

You don’t need more insight.

You need release.

Somatic movement. Breathwork. Screaming into a pillow. Crying without censoring it.

Letting the energy move — without needing to explain it.

We’re disconnected from what actually heals us.

Let’s zoom out for a second.

We’re not just disconnected from our bodies.

We’re disconnected from nature, from ritual, from community.

From everything our ancestors used to ground themselves.

Modern life makes us feel like we need to constantly do more, know more, push harder — even with healing.

But healing doesn’t happen through force.

It happens through connection. Through being witnessed. Through slowing down. Through remembering who you are underneath the layers.

We don’t need more productivity.

We need presence.

We need to cry beside rivers.

We need to scream into the wind.

We need to be held in circle and told “me too.”

So if you still feel stuck… try this instead

Let yourself feel fully.

Let yourself move intuitively.

Let yourself release loudly, messily, beautifully.

Swap some of the mental work for embodied practice:

  • Breathwork to release what you’ve been holding in

  • Somatic movement to move energy through

  • EFT tapping to shift stored fear or emotion

  • Rituals that anchor you back into your body and truth

  • Rest. Stillness. Presence.

Because the truth is —

You’re not behind.

You’re not broken.

You’re just being called deeper.

And this time… your body needs to come with you.

Ready to reconnect and go deeper?

If you’ve been doing “all the work” and still feel stuck… you’re not alone.

And you don’t have to keep doing it alone either.

Unshakeable is a free workshop designed to help you release emotional blocks, reconnect to your power, and shift stuck energy through the body — with breathwork, shadow work, EFT, and more.

It’s where healing meets embodiment. No fluff, no bypassing, just truth.
